{"id":"AZL-71131","summary":"CVE-2025-66030 affecting package reaper for versions less than 3.1.1-21","details":"Forge (also called `node-forge`) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. An Integer Overflow vulnerability in node-forge versions 1.3.1 and below enables remote, unauthenticated attackers to craft ASN.1 structures containing OIDs with oversized arcs. These arcs may be decoded as smaller, trusted OIDs due to 32-bit bitwise truncation, enabling the bypass of downstream OID-based security decisions. This issue has been patched in version 1.3.2.","modified":"2026-04-01T05:22:01.696486Z","published":"2025-11-26T23:15:49Z","upstream":["CVE-2025-66030"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2025-66030"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"reaper","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:2","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/reaper"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"fixed":"3.1.1-21"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-71131.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.7.5"}
