{"id":"AZL-93614","summary":"CVE-2026-64276 affecting package kernel for versions less than 6.6.145.2-1","details":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\nInput: synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F30 keymap to the GPIO/LED count\n\nrmi_f30_map_gpios() allocates gpioled_key_map with\nmin(gpioled_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) == at most 6 entries, but\nrmi_f30_attention() iterates the full f30-\u003egpioled_count (device query\nregister, range 0..31) and dereferences gpioled_key_map[i], and\ninput-\u003ekeycodemax is set to the full gpioled_count while input-\u003ekeycode\npoints at the 6-entry allocation.\n\nA device that reports gpioled_count \u003e 6 with GPIO support enabled\ntherefore causes an out-of-bounds read on the attention interrupt and\nout-of-bounds read/write through the EVIOCGKEYCODE/EVIOCSKEYCODE ioctls,\nwhich bound the index only against keycodemax. This is the same defect\nas the F3A handler, which was copied from F30.\n\nSize the keymap for the full gpioled_count; the mapping loop still\nassigns only the first min(gpioled_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) entries.","modified":"2026-08-28T17:47:54.647285708Z","published":"2026-07-25T10:17:08Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-64276"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-64276"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"kernel","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:3","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/kernel"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"fixed":"6.6.145.2-1"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-93614.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0"}
