{"id":"CVE-2024-22192","summary":"Ursa CL-Signatures Revocation allows verifiers to generate unique identifiers for holders","details":"Ursa is a cryptographic library for use with blockchains. The revocation scheme that is part of the Ursa CL-Signatures implementations has a flaw that could impact the privacy guarantees defined by the AnonCreds verifiable credential model. Notably, a malicious verifier may be able to generate a unique identifier for a holder providing a verifiable presentation that includes a Non-Revocation proof. The impact of the flaw is that a malicious verifier may be able to determine a unique identifier for a holder presenting a Non-Revocation proof. Ursa has moved to end-of-life status and no fix is expected.","aliases":["GHSA-6698-mhxx-r84g"],"modified":"2026-05-18T05:57:43.155128520Z","published":"2024-01-16T21:44:53.121Z","database_specific":{"cwe_ids":["CWE-327"],"osv_generated_from":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2024/22xxx/CVE-2024-22192.json","cna_assigner":"GitHub_M"},"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2024/22xxx/CVE-2024-22192.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/hyperledger-archives/ursa/security/advisories/GHSA-6698-mhxx-r84g"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-22192"}],"affected":[{"ranges":[{"type":"GIT","repo":"https://github.com/hyperledger-archives/ursa","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"last_affected":"34ef3926b633a5eaff5b220c40005bbc8cd04861"}],"database_specific":{"source":"AFFECTED_FIELD","extracted_events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"last_affected":"0.3.7"}]}}],"versions":["v0.3.7","v0.3.6","bbs-v0.4.0","bbs-v0.3.0","v0.3.2","v0.3.1","v0.3.0","v0.2.0","v0.1.1"],"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/osv-test-cve-osv-conversion/osv-output/CVE-2024-22192.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.7.5","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N"}]}
