{"id":"DEBIAN-CVE-2026-54264","details":"Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.1, 21.2.17, and 20.3.25, an information disclosure vulnerability exists in the @angular/service-worker package of the Angular framework. When the Service Worker fetches assets, it preserves metadata (such as headers) from the original request. However, on cross-origin redirects, the Service Worker fails to strip sensitive headers, violating the Fetch redirect algorithm. This allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive credentials (e.g., Authorization tokens, Proxy-Authorization credentials, or session cookies) by triggering a cross-origin redirect to an untrusted external origin. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.1, 21.2.17, and 20.3.25.","modified":"2026-09-01T16:06:50.692912739Z","published":"2026-06-22T16:16:39.057Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-54264"],"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2026-54264"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"angular.js","ecosystem":"Debian:12","purl":"pkg:deb/debian/angular.js?arch=source&distro=bookworm"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"}]}],"versions":["1.8.3-1","1.8.3-1+deb12u1","1.8.3-1+deb12u1~deb11u1","1.8.3-2","1.8.3-3"],"ecosystem_specific":{"urgency":"not yet assigned"},"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/osv-test-debian-osv/debian-cve-osv/DEBIAN-CVE-2026-54264.json"}},{"package":{"name":"angular.js","ecosystem":"Debian:13","purl":"pkg:deb/debian/angular.js?arch=source&distro=trixie"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"}]}],"versions":["1.8.3-3"],"ecosystem_specific":{"urgency":"not yet assigned"},"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/osv-test-debian-osv/debian-cve-osv/DEBIAN-CVE-2026-54264.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N"}]}
