Alternatively, the attacker could inject a malicious \nenvironment variable pointing to a malicious configuration file. In both \ncases, the attack requires existing privilege.\n\nCVE-2024-12801: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in SaxEventRecorder by QOS.CH logback version 0.1 to 1.3.14 and 1.4.0 to 1.5.12  on the Java platform, allows an attacker to \nforge requests by compromising logback configuration files in XML.\n\n\n\nThe attacks involves the modification of DOCTYPE declaration in  XML configuration files.\n\nCVE-2026-10532: Logback deserialization whitelist bypass for Proxy objects\n\nCVE-2026-19880: Path-traversal vulnerability in QOS.CH Sarl Logback-classic on Java (logback-classic module) allows path-traversal vulnerability. More specifically, an \nMDC-based discriminator value flows unsanitized into a nested \nFileAppender path, letting an attacker who influences that MDC value \n(e.g. via an HTTP header)\n create and append log files outside the intended directory. \n\n\nThis issue affects Logback-classic: from 0.9.14 through 1.6.2.\n\nThis patched artifact is a drop-in replacement for ch.qos.logback:logback-classic 1.5.9 from Maven Central.","modified":"2026-10-20T23:13:15.561450477Z","published":"2026-10-08T00:00:00Z","upstream":["CVE-2024-12798","CVE-2024-12801","CVE-2026-10532","CVE-2026-19880","GHSA-6v67-2wr5-gvf4","GHSA-jhq6-gfmj-v8fx","GHSA-pr98-23f8-jwxv"],"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-12798"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-pr98-23f8-jwxv"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-12801"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-6v67-2wr5-gvf4"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/10xxx/CVE-2026-10532.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-10532"},{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://github.com/qos-ch/logback"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-jhq6-gfmj-v8fx"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-19880"}],"schema_version":"1.9.1","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V4","score":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:P/VC:L/VI:H/VA:L/SC:L/SI:H/SA:L/E:X/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:X/AU:X/R:X/V:X/RE:L/U:Clear"}],"credits":[{"name":"Red Hat Lightwell","type":"REMEDIATION_DEVELOPER"}]}
